Passover Specials

The holiday starts on Friday March 30.  You plan the holiday, let us take care of the meal.  We offer a full seder dinner – meat, fish, or vegetarian – in addition to individual dishes.  Contact us for details for the full meal.  Check out below for some holiday specialties.

Not-your-bubbe’s Gefilte Fish  
This non-traditional take on a traditional dish is amazing.  Made from fresh salmon, smoked salmon, and scallions.  These fish quenelles are delicious cold or warm.  You can serve them at your seder and eat them all week long.  You can figure 1-2 per person as part of a full dinner.  $8/dozen, $15/2 dozen

Asparagus Carrot Bundles
Fresh asparagus and carrot strips steamed to a perfect tender-crisp wrapped up and tied with a scallion bow.  Come with a very simple balsamic vinaigrette.  Can be eaten cold or heated.  The perfect, impressive, beautiful vegetable for your Passover table.  Figure 1 per person as part of a full dinner.  $9/dozen, $17/2 dozen

Red Wine Poached Pears with Red Wine Chocolate Sauce
Fresh bosc pears poached in spiced sweet red wine.  Elegant, pretty, and utterly delicious these pears make the perfect dessert at the end of a large meal or a special breakfast.  You can serve 1 pear per person for a larger dessert or cut in half for a smaller one.  Come with a jar of red wine chocolate sauce.  $10/dozen, $19/2 dozen

Soups – all $9/quart
Tomato Spinach Soup

Full of fresh spinach, flavored with balsamic vinegar and garlic, spiced with plenty of black pepper this rich tomato soup is good for non-chicken soup change. 
Carrot Ginger Soup
A gorgeous, warming puree soup of sweet carrots and spicy sweet ginger.  This soup is thick and hearty and can be eaten hot or cold.
Potato Mushroom Soup
Red potatoes, fresh dill, and sliced mushrooms are the stars of this amazing brothy soup.
Beet and Cherry Soup
This soup is a powerhouse of flavor, color, and anti-oxidants.  Beets and tart cherries provide earthiness, sweetness, and plenty of tart flavor to this gorgeous soup.  Serve as it comes or top with a dollop of sour cream or creme fraiche.
